Resons to write someone

April
On April 11, 1947, baseball legend Jackie Robinson played in his first Major League game. Recall those days when you either played ball or simply enjoyed it as a spectator? Who went to the games with you? Dad? Mom? Uncle Joe? With baseball spring fever upon us, drop them a note to say, "Thanks for taking me out to the ballgame."

Renaissance man Leonardo DaVinci was born on April 15, 1452. Dan Brown's best-selling The DaVinci Code is still being read by thousands. How about inviting some friends for a museum get-together or starting a book club?

Author William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564. If you've got something to say to someone, chances are, 'ole Will's got a quote for you. Whether you're missing a loved one ("Parting is such sweet sorrow."), comforting a friend ("Courage and comfort, all shall yet go well."), making an announcement ("Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears!"), or if you just feel like saying something totally random ("Et tu, Brute?").
