Hurricane Katrina

Some of you might already know that I'm participating in Crafters United to raise funds for the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund.



Crafters United is a collection of close to 100 independent designers and crafters who have donated a variety of products in order to raise at least $1,000 for the Red Cross. With sales and cash donations within just one day, Crafters United has already raised close to half of the initial goal!

Also, if you are an animal lover, please also take some time to consider how this unfortunate event has affected the pets and animals in the Southeast. Several animal and humane organizations have already been mobilized to help rescue displaced or trapped animals. Please visit ASPCA.org for information on donations and how you can help.
